ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Carmen Walker is a certified health, weight loss, and life coach. After being diagnosed with diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) back in 2020, Carmen decided to transform her health and her life through diet, exercise, and by changing her mindset. Within 3 months time, she was able to lower her hemoglobin a1c and was blessed to get off of insulin. After that, Carmen's weight loss journey really took off.

To date, she has loss and kept off over 65 lbs. She went from working out inconsistently to establishing a consistent workout schedule. She started working out 2-3 days per week and now works out 5 days per week.

Carmen decided to become a health coach because she wanted to help other prediabetic/ type 2 diabetics get healthier and achieve great success in their weight loss and wellness journey.
